Put KELE in a room with any person for more than ten minutes, and that person will surely emerge a fan of this electro-rocker's infectious music.  As an original member of Bloc Pary, Kele has emerged as an equally powerful solo artist, lighting up audiences on the festival circuit this summer throughout Europe and the U.S.  Kele comes to Royale, Boston's newest venue for the best emerging bands in the world, Tuesday, September 7th, and will be joined by Does it Offend You, Yeah?, who joined Bloc Party and NIN in 2008 on their tours.   GO TO THIS SHOW.

Kele, who released his solo album only this June, departed on his own from Bloc Party as the band went on hiatus back in October of 2009.  His album, entitled 'The Boxer', is a testament to his independence from Bloc Party.  He states, "It was because as a boxer, you have to rely on nobody else but yourself to achieve what it is you want to achieve," he says. "Even though you take hits, you have to keep focus on your priorities and keep going.
