Alberta Cross is ON FIRE. A Brooklyn-based rock band with strong blues and folk influences, Alberta Cross has been on tour this summer with Dave Matthews, Ben Harper, Mumford and Sons, throughout Australia, Europe and now finishing up in the U.S. with coast-to-coast dates. The tour wraps up on the east coast in their hometown of New York with a very cool acoustic performance at Joe's Pub in the east village. The band is on tour supporting their album 'Broken Side of Time', which was released on ATO Records. This band has major cred, having been picked by Noel Gallagher himself to open up for Oasis on a few dates in the UK back in 2007. They've since played all of the indie-holyland festivals like SXSW, Bonnaroo, Leeds and Reading, catapulting them into buzz heroes. Their sound often gets compared to Kings of Leon, The Raconteurs, and other southern blues-rock bands. Their sound is guitar-driven, perfectly executed, original, passionate, nostalgic, and tugs at just the right part of a human being that will make them come back to their music years later looking for that feeling again. Listen to their album with a glass of scotch on a night along. You'll feel it too. GO TO THIS SHOW.

Alberta Cross is co-headlining with Dead Confederate and is supported by Mean Creek. Dead Confederate is touring in support of their album 'Sugar'. They've been on a similar U.S. tour hitting many of the same festivals Alberta Cross played. Equally impressive on stage and certainly a band to keep an eye on.
